K-style is the most common residential gutter profile in Idaho. The crown molding shape looks finished against almost any fascia, the flat back mounts flush and holds slope consistently, and the profile moves water efficiently to your downspouts. We fabricate every run on site to the exact length of your roofline — no mid-run seams, no joints where sectional gutters typically leak first.

Formed On Site
Each run is roll-formed to the exact length of your roofline on our machine, right in your driveway. One seamless piece means no joints along the run and no seams to separate or leak over time.
5" and 6" Profiles
Sized correctly using the SMACNA calculator and your roof's actual square footage and pitch, not a one-size-fits-all guess. We install 6-inch on larger roofs, steep pitches, and high-volume drainage situations.
Hidden-Hanger System
Every run is hung with concealed spike-free hangers set closer than residential minimum, so the gutter holds its slope and handles Idaho snow load without pulling away from the fascia.
K-style gets its name from SMACNA, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association, which assigned the letter "K" to this profile when cataloging gutter shapes decades ago. It stuck, and today it is installed on the vast majority of homes in Idaho and across the country.
We fabricate every K-style run on site with a roll-forming machine, so each piece is cut to the exact length of your fascia board. That single detail — no mid-run joints — is the biggest reason seamless gutters outlast the sectional gutters sold at hardware stores, which leak at every connection point over time.
Other Profile Options We Install
K-style is the right call for about 95% of the jobs we do in the Treasure Valley. For the remaining 5%, we offer two alternative profiles:
Box Gutters
Box gutters have a flat-bottomed, square-edged profile that reads cleaner than K-style on modern and contemporary homes. We offer 5-inch and 6-inch box gutters in the same aluminum stock as our K-style runs. Box gutters pair naturally with round downspouts for a uniform, architectural look. They are also common on commercial buildings and agricultural structures where a lower-profile appearance is preferred.
Half-Round Gutters
Half-round gutters are a traditional profile well suited to craftsman bungalows, historic homes, and European-inspired architecture. The rounded channel is naturally self-cleaning in moderate debris conditions and pairs with copper or aluminum round downspouts. We install half-round gutters in aluminum and, for premium applications, copper. If your home's style calls for it, call or request an estimate and we will help you decide whether half-round makes sense.

5" K-Style
The right size for the majority of Idaho homes. Moves standard rain volume efficiently and pairs with 2"x3" or 3"x4" downspouts.
6" K-Style
Used on larger roofs, steep pitches, and homes with above-average rainfall exposure. Moves significantly more water per linear foot than 5-inch.
