What Is Not Covered (and Why)

Normal maintenance is not a workmanship defect, so it is not covered: leaves, debris, bird nests, and general buildup are home upkeep, not installation failure. Damage from ladders, falling limbs, other trades, and acts of nature is also outside the scope of a workmanship warranty.

That said, if you call us saying your gutter is leaking and it turns out to be a clog rather than our workmanship, we will tell you that for free. Half the calls we get on cold February mornings are ice dams from clogged gutters, and we tell those homeowners exactly what they have and what to do about it, at no charge for the diagnosis.

Why We Can Offer a Lifetime Warranty

A warranty is only as good as the training and process behind it. We train our installation crews to standards that are genuinely higher than most local competitors require, because we have to: if we put our workmanship guarantee in writing with no expiration date, we cannot afford to do the job halfway. The industry standard for a gutter contractor workmanship warranty is one to two years. Repair work carries a 1-year workmanship warranty: if a repair we made fails within that window because of how we did the repair, we come back and fix it. Cleaning is guaranteed flowing at completion: we flush every downspout before we leave and take photos so you can see the before and after.
