Not always. We assess the fascia condition on every estimate. If the fascia is structurally sound, we install directly into it. If sections are soft or delaminating from water damage, those sections should be replaced first.

How do I know if my fascia is rotted?

Soft spots when you press on the fascia board, paint that is bubbling or peeling from the wood, or sections that look darker or stained below the gutter line are common signs. We inspect fascia condition as part of every free estimate.
