Historic Church Gutter Restoration, Downtown Boise

The challenge: The original gutter system on this historic stone church was decades old, poorly pitched, and beginning to send water down the bell tower masonry, a serious long-term risk for a building this old.

Our approach: Our crew worked carefully around the stone facade and bell tower, fabricating a seamless system on site that matched the building's existing lines while correcting the pitch so water actually reaches the downspouts instead of the walls.

The result: The church now has a properly functioning gutter system that protects the original stonework, installed without altering the character of a building that has stood for over a hundred years.
